Baking with cougette is not so crazy anymore. But make your own ice cream with zucchini? Yes, that's really possible! Zucchini has a very neutral taste, so with enough cocoa powder (chocolate flavour!) and enough sweetness, this is an unexpectedly great combination. Think about this for a moment: your child doesn't want to eat vegetables? Oh, Mama's got you a chocolate ice cream! Even if you don't expect this chocolate ice cream to taste good with zucchini, you should just give it a try as an experiment. Totally fun right?

This is how you make it

  1. Chop the bananas and courgettes into pieces and place in the freezer at least one night in advance.
  2. Grind the dates finely in a blender. Add the frozen banana and courgette pieces and 2 tablespoons chocospread and blend to a smooth mixture.
  3. Scoop balls of the ice cream, place these in a container and return them to the freezer until they are hard.
  4. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a bain- marie and pour this over the ice cream just before serving.
