Lentils and Indian curry, that's a tasty combo. Kind of like dahl and Indian curry in one. This is an easy recipe for vegan curry that requires no chef skills at all. Just add that pot of curry sauce to the cooked lentils, and you're already there. No one will know the curry sauce came from a jar, because the flavors are phenomenal! Just exactly the way an authentic Indian curry is supposed to taste. So a quick and easy recipe for madras lentil curry!

This is what you need

Red lentils100 g
Onion1
Roasted sesame oil1 tbspIndian madras curry sauce1 jar
Naan with garlic1
Vegan cream cheese3 tbsp
For the toppings:
Fresh cilantrolittle hand

This is how you make it

  1. Preheat the oven to 180˚C. 
  2. Cook the lentils according to the package directions.  
  3. Chop the onion.  
  4. Put the sesame oil in a frying pan. Fry the onion for 2-3 minutes.  
  5. Add the Indian curry and let warm gently.  
  6. Meanwhile, put the naan in the oven, bake according to the instructions on the package. 
  7. Finely chop the cilantro.  
  8. Drain the lentils and add them to the curry.  
  9. Serve the lentil curry with a scoop of vegan cream cheese and sprinkle with the chopped cilantro. Use naan as a breaking bread with the curry.
