Vegan chocolate mousse (with coconut whipped cream)

American

A classic dessert, in a vegan way. This vegan chocolate mousse is all vegetable, and that's because we have a base without cow's milk, with coconut whipped cream. A decadent mousse with a creaminess you can't resist. The combination of 100% cocoa powder and coconut blossom sugar means you actually make your own chocolate, but completely pure and with the best sugar available. Of course, you can adjust the coconut blossom sugar to your taste. A tasty, plant-based, dairy-free chocolate mousse!

This is how you make it

  1. Shake the can of coconut whipping cream, then refrigerate for 8-12 hours.
  2. Put the can of coconut whipping cream in a narrow, tall bowl. Whip with an electric mixer.
  3. Meanwhile, add the cocoa powder, coconut blossom sugar and vanilla powder little by little.
  4. Keep beating until you have a firm mousse. This usually takes about 2 minutes, but can take a lot longer. Continue until you are happy with the substance and it resembles mousse.
  5. Garnish with chocolate chips and your favourite fruit.
